I am a hobby breeder of British Shorthair cats, raising our kittens as part of the family. When we have a litter I re-purpose the dining room / kitchen area of our house for the kittens so that they run freely between the rooms downstairs so they get used to general household and kitchen activity and noises. I hope and believe this leads to happy and healthy kittens who will make excellent family pets.
